Rig Build Update: Actuators Mounted
Big milestone today — the actuators are now mounted on the Caelira Systems rig. This step turns the frame from a static build into something with real motion potential.
Each actuator has been carefully aligned and secured to the surge and traction-loss platforms, ensuring clean travel and minimal stress on the aluminium profile. It’s always one of the trickiest parts of the build — getting everything square and balanced — but once they’re in, the rig finally starts to look alive.
Next steps will be wiring the servo drives and connecting up the Thanos controller. From there, we’ll start basic movement tests before moving on to fine-tuning in SimHub.
It’s all about momentum now — one step closer to Motion Made Real.
