We build motion rigs because we’re obsessed with them. Simple as that.
 

About three years ago, I bought a plug-and-play 3DOF system. It worked well — fun to use — but it just didn’t feel quite right for flight sims. It wasn’t smooth enough, especially when things got technical. Later on, that company started offering upgraded motors and gears, so I reached out to ask about buying the parts to update my system.
 

Their response?

"Sell your rig and buy a brand new one."
 

That was… disappointing. So I started digging.
 

Pretty quickly it became clear that if I wanted strength, smooth motion, and a system I could actually build on, I needed actuators. And I wanted something solid. No flexing, no rattling — just a proper, planted platform. Aluminium profile made sense — it’s strong, clean, and easy to work with. That’s where the Caelira build started.
 

And once you start thinking seriously about motion?
You stop settling. 3DOF becomes 6. Add wind. Add tactile. Add control.
 

Now I’m building rigs that are exactly what I wanted from the start — and I’m doing it for people who want that same no-compromise experience.
